Una historia de resiliencia
I’m a single mom. And when you’re raising a child while building your own dreams, you realize something very quickly: efficiency isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity.
Alum wasn't born from a business plan. It was born from my life.
Of being a mom. Of having to make everything work. Of wanting to simplify what doesn't have to be complicated.
I’m a single mom. And when you’re raising a child while building your own dreams, you realize something very quickly: efficiency isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity.
A few years ago, I went through a serious health issue. I started questioning what I ate, what I used, and what I let into my home. I became more conscious.
I realized that it’s not just about what we put into our bodies. What comes into contact with our skin every day matters too.
We were taught that if it smells strong, it’s clean. But many times, it’s just perfumed. And that’s not the same thing.
For over ten years, I’ve been making many of my own products at home. I’ve always enjoyed formulating, testing, and tweaking. The detergent was one of those experiments that stuck.
It worked because I made it work. If something needed to soak, I let it soak. If adjustments needed to be made, I made them.
But then came the real test: baby clothes.
One day a friend asked me what I used. She told me that my son's clothes always looked different, cleaner, better cared for.
I told him I made my own blend.
"Then sell it to me."
And that's where it all began.
Turning something homemade into a real product was a whole new level. I could no longer rely on lengthy processes or complicated instructions.
It had to work in real life. In regular washing machines. With regular cycles. In regular lives.
One single product. No fabric softener. No separate stain remover. No unnecessary steps. Just results.
Alum isn’t just a detergent. It’s one less decision to make each day. It’s knowing it’ll get the job done. It’s efficiency at home. It’s quality without the noise.
It’s for women who are building something—a business, a family, a new way of doing things.
Alum was born at home. And we’re just getting started.
Meet Alum. Bring efficiency to your home.
